Below are some suggested sizes. Advertisers can purchase sizes not shown. The minimum ad size is one column inch. Ad sizes are rounded up to the nearest 1/4 inch. Ads more than 14” deep will be billed at 16 1/2” deep. La Gaceta provides discounts for frequency and bulk space advertising. For more information, contact Patrick Manteiga.

Technical Information


Halftones are produced on an 85% line screen. Column width is 11 ems, five columns per page; depth 16 1/2 inches; 230 lines per column; 1150 lines per page. Screen tints should be 20% to 70% to guarantee quality. Emailed PDFs are preferred for camera ready art with photographs, but thumbnail photos are not accepted. Advertising materials may also be sent as JPEGs or TIFFs. Photos for ads can be black and white or color. The quality of the reproduction depends on the quality of the original photograph.
